Exploring the Spectral Field System
I stumbled upon an intriguing concept that would later materialize into the Spectral Field System, a creation that allows me to shape multicolored light patterns onto surrounding surfaces, transforming spaces into vibrant murals of light and color. Rather than keep this innovation confined, I’ve adapted it for various applications, spanning from light fixtures to sculpture and environmental signage.
Take, for instance, the “Meteor” sconces pictured above. Here, the flexible diffraction surface is seamlessly integrated into the design, laminated to the rear side of a pliable copper shade. What’s truly exciting is the freedom it offers—I can laser-cut these shades into any custom shape, enabling endless possibilities for artistic expression.
