Transforming Fluidity

I invented the technique of having a transparent fluid like water flow over a diffraction surface, resulting in a mesmerizing field of colored light that ebbs and flows with the rhythm of the liquid. I’ve also applied this innovative method to vertical displays, embedding the diffraction surface into flexible nylon ribbons coated with water droplets, as seen in the captivating Lightshower Fountain at the American Board of Radiology Building in Tucson, AZ. Innovative

I love harnessing the transformative power of diffraction surfaces to create a captivating display of colored light that dances with the flow of water. Embedded within flexible nylon ribbons coated with water droplets, the diffraction surface illuminates with a radiant white light source, producing a dynamic visual spectacle.
